Young wordsmiths are encouraged to get creative and enter the fourth Children's Poetry Competition.

The competition is organised by the Chichester Rotary Club in association with the city's Waterstones branch, for children aged 5 - 15.

Entries open on Monday 16th January and there will be an Olympic theme entitled Sport the World Over

Forms can be downloaded from http://www.rotarypoetry.info or from Waterstones in West Street, Chichester.

It costs £1 to enter and the deadline for entries is Saturday 24th March.

Awards will be presented by the Mayor of Chichester at a special ceremony to be held in April.
